SEVE multi-purpose grapple
The SEVE forestry grapple is a hydraulic attachment designed for handling wood, branches, and bulk materials. With its multi-purpose design, it enhances efficiency in forestry and agricultural operations, offering high precision and excellent gripping force.
This model operates with two synchronized arms powered by a double-acting cylinder, requiring only a single hydraulic circuit. The hydraulic hoses are integrated within the frame for enhanced protection and extended system lifespan. The structure is made from high-strength Hardox steel, and the tips are crafted from Hardox 400 (400HB), a material renowned for its toughness and wear resistance.
One of the SEVE grapple’s key advantages is its rigid mounting system, unlike traditional forestry grapples that use a pendulum suspension with a rotator. This setup provides a direct, stable connection with the excavator arm, allowing for faster, more precise movements. As a result, the grapple acts as a natural extension of the arm, enabling easy handling and sorting of materials without loss of control.
The SEVE forestry grapple is designed for excavators from 10 to 20 tonnes, operating under hydraulic pressures between 200 and 250 bars, with a flow rate of 40 to 100 L/min. This configuration allows compatibility with various machines, including mini-excavators, forestry loaders, truck cranes, and telescopic handlers.
